Talk to any coach on here who has done it more than 2 years and had any kind of success. pick o e..go ahead..there are plenty and they will all tell you that just because one particular staff member is in charge of or given responsibility for a certain aspect that that same coach does not impact or have input on any other part of the team.

As a dc for instance .y HC came to me b3cause i had nore experience than him and asked me regularly about personelle on offense and what plays to run. In fact I pretty much nade all of the personelle decisions,but i asnt in charge of that by title.
My brother coached two years ago for a couple years as a dl/ol coach,the dc and hc knew he knew more about football han both combin3d an came to him regularly to ask his inout.. in the championship game,it was ny beo..the DL coach who told the jc/oc to go to a balanced line in a single wing unbalanced line offense. He told the oc/hc to move the qb to rb and give the 16 power to the regular back who is a bigger more physical back..the counter then went to the qb who runs a 4.4. The couter scored 3 times, the power twice.

On defense he told the dc to go to a 5-2 base, slide the qb to FS, and shirten the SSLB.
The team didnt allow a first down the second half and scored 35 pts.
But..Allof that came from "just the DL coach".
So ,no i dont believe you know how coaching staffs work together.
