My OP stated accurately that the team performed better wbile POPE/RICE were assts.
You stated that Pope was in Charge of a then worse defense..( i havent looked up numbers but assume you are correct) The D may have been worse but the team was better. My assertion was there is more to a coaches impact on a team than his assigned role.
It appears baaed on team performance witb and without RiCE/POPE, that both had nore of such an impact than just their assigned role.

Our d seems to be performing better,but that doesnt mean that Q's overall impact on the teams performance is more of a net possiitve than Pope or Rice's. In fact the teams deline seems to suggest the opposite.
There aure hasnt been a lot of X's and O's showing up on the court..it seems.

So you have comparative d rankings from 2011 to 2014 compared to this year? Id be interesting in seeing the comparison.
