I said "by itself" you have to look at other stats.
A guy shooting 37% from the floor but all he shoots are 3's is much better than a guy who shoots 50% fgs but all he shoots are 2s.
You have to look at efg% TS% etc to get the full picture. Fg% alone is incomplete information.
