Having the two senior starters (Davis and Rose) get hurt for the season and Bryant the sixth man/starter hurt for the 1st half of the season were major set backs. Also, add two starters just getting back from their missions and only playing freshmen and sophomores for the second half of the season (yes, I know Kentucky and Duke do that...not a reasonable comparison).
Sure this season has felt like a disappointment with the amount of bad losses, but only because of talent and potential of this team. If next season is similar to this one then maybe just possibly we can start thinking of a change somewhere in the coaching staff.
Also, season isn't over yet. Last week was our best week of basketball. Every coach says at the beginning of the season, "the goals is too be playing our best basketball come March." Maybe were doing that and we'll string together three wins next weekend.
