While I agree our offense doesnt normally generate high % looks even when using the full shot clock, going with ~15 seconds leaves you with an opportunity for a 2nd PNR or 2nd action, that will hopefully be used efficiently.
NBA coaches talk about getting the ball to the "3rd" side of the floor, or enough ball movement to switch the floor 2x, effectively creating opportunities to score by then attacking the shifting defense. Its tough to run one PNR late in the shot clock and expect to get good looks
