But you don't hear of the many more incidents when a dog DIDNT attack someone.
It's like thinking all humans are murderers because there are a lot of murderers out there-but there are many, many more people who never murder anyone.

I know many many responsible owners of pits, and many many pits that never attacked or killed or bit anything.

They do tend to kill smaller animals sometimes because their terrier instinct to kill small rodents and they have a strong prey drive.

But many other breeds have killed or attacked smaller animals too. I had a customer with a Pom who got attacked by a Great Dane-a normally "gentle giant" not aggressive at all.

The fact is MOST pits are going to be good if they are bred and managed properly. It's the fewer ones that aren't who make the rest look bad. Several friends and clients with pits who never killed or bit, even ones with other smaller animals.

With anything in life, you hear about the less common bad apple rather than the many more good apples out there.
