Yes it is. It's selfish and irresponsible.
I'm sure ByuImaginesDragons is a responsible owner and a great dog owner. Even then, she admitted that her beagle broke the chain and got loose. She also admitted that "rarely" does the beagle get out without her knowing.

Even the most responsible dog owners make mistakes. Dogs will get loose. Luckily for ByuImaginesDragons she had a beagle and not a PB. It's much much much much more likely that a PB will do more harm when on the loose than a beagle.

PB owners who think they are so responsible and good are too proud to admit that a mistake could ever be made. Bottom line is PBs are the most risky breed and are more likely to harm others or others' animals than any other dog breed. I'm sure Finn will find some statistic that shows more harm from other breeds, but that's not accounting for total breed population.

Dogs and kids are awesome. There's no need to own a pit bull where one or more of these could be harmed or killed.

Don't own a PB if you are anywhere near other people or animals.
