I agree with your last part. An irresponsible dog owner could make any dog bada
and dangerous. I think when it is a PB, it just raises the stakes a bit more than if it was a little ankle-biter dog. As I mentioned in one of my posts above, it would be interesting to look at the demographics of the dog owners of ALL dog attacks. I'm betting there is a correlation between the economic ability to properly raise a dog and dog attacks. For PB, I would also assume/guess that who you are buying from is important. This is the same for any animal, but where terriers seem to have a bit more of a natural instinct to chase/attack buying a dog from a reputable breeder who has always taken good care of their dogs probably increases the chance of successfully raising the PB, or any dog, that you buy. It just seems from the data that PBs, more than other breeds, have a violent tendency so greater care should be given before buying this breed than say, a border collie. Just my thoughts after reading all the posts on here..
