So every BB player that goes to play college more than 1 year is disadvantaged? Not sure I buy that. There are plenty of 2, 3, 4 and 5 year redshirt players in the NBA. I think it is less of an age issue and more a talent/upside issue. a 25 year old may have just as much upside as a 19 year old. If the NBA sees talent/upside in a person and they think they can benefit by drafting you, they will. If I recall correctly, Sabonis started his NBA career at 31, that is way past 19.
