Possums are a mistake of nature. My dog got hold of one once
and nearly killed it. To put it out of its misery I shot it with a 22. Turns out those things really do "play possum" cause when I shot it it got up and started running around and hissing. So then I had to shoot it again to really put it out if its misery.
Not sure if I helped out in that situation, but the world is probably a better place with one less possum.
