The reason that people are so optimistic is because his high school buddies Tolutau and Tukuafu both RM-transferred.

Sitake being his d coordinator at Oregon State helps also.

I'd guess you discuss it with BYU coaches (after one yr) and the coaches keep it quiet until the kid gets home.
