Doman and DuPaix were recruiting him hard before they got fired. Once they were fired, they didn't communicate with him at all and didn't visit his high school anymore. He didn't even know if he still had an offer. He had already committed to Stanford by the time BYU coaches back to him. BYU wasn't really in the mix after that. With the new coaches on board, BYU has a good chance at getting him after his mission.
