BYU was playing Wyoming at then Cougar Stadium. It was a tight game. BYU was driving for what would have been the winning TD. Todd played running back in those days. In the closing drive he fumbled the ball and BYU lost.

I never met him personally, but I saw him the next Sunday in the Wilkinson Center. He was all by himself looking like the world had ended. The loss obviously meant a great deal to him and he felt awful about it. RIP Todd. You were a great player and man.
