The biggest/tallest gravestone that you can see in your pictures is somewhat reflective. At night, car headlights make it look like it is glowing. I grew up my entire life driving out there to see the "Victor Lady" at night. As you drove up the small dirt road to the cemetery, the gravestone would glow and look like a ghost. There was also a legend that went along with the Victor Lady. Usually, it was that her husband or child was buried there and she stayed there to protect them.
As a little kid, it was crazy scary and gave me nightmares, but it is a lot of fun to take my nieces and nephews out there now. The sad thing is that some of the fencing they put up blocks the headstone and makes it not glow as much as it used to.
And yes, I grew up in desolation.
