Gen X started in 1961. So they are 56 now, some with 30 year old kids.

Early Gen Xers kids are the 30-20 range most complain about.

I am a Gen Xer with a 21 year old. So I fit in that range, and have seen it a ton amongst my peers. Parenting is hard, and many choose the easy path instead of the tough but one best for the kid.
