Exactly. The policy was explicitly racist. You can debate whether it was right

or wrong, good or bad, doctrinal or not doctrinal, of God or not of God, necessary or not necessary, etc., but I don't really see how one can debate that it wasn't racist. So we really shouldn't be offended when people refer to it as racist, IMO. It is not a liberal chant. We made our bed, now we're sleeping in it.
