most awesome: won my very first Varsity wrestling match against a guy who ended up winning 5th in state... made the newspaper for the most exciting match of the meet.

most painful: got pushed from behind while "rushing" the qb at BYU intramurals, dove for the flag as I was falling forward, and the QB did a jump pass... his knee hit me squarely in the nose, breaking it (more like squashing it) and fractured my skull (I was actually leaking CSF - brain fluid through my nose in the hospital! To top it off, I got called into the intramural office the next week and was reprimanded because I got up off the ground and went after the guy who pushed me from behind... apparently they didn't like that, and the fact that I told the ref he should have called a penalty! Ruined a perfectly good shirt in the process!!
