Yeah, the offense definitely wasn't designed to get Nate looks from 3.

I was just observing that he at least attempted to shoot (very little) early in those seasons, then stopped trying completely--no matter how open he was--as the season wore on.

As has been pointed out in this thread, there is no reason to think Nashif would have wanted Nate shooting 3's anyway, but it's also true that Nate did nothing on the court in his later years to give him or the coaches confidence in his outside shot.

Dastrup was a very good 3 point shooter all last summer in practice. 3/15 says no more than KD's 7/15 the year before.
