This is a case where you have to be careful with statistics

A team that shoots poorly will have more of a chance for offensive rebounds. Therefore poor-shooting teams, who are likely not very good, may get more offensive rebounds.

Not throwing your stat out completely, as I think it's intriguing. But there may be some caution to be taken.

Dastrup was a very good 3 point shooter all last summer in practice. 3/15 says no more than KD's 7/15 the year before.
