Agreed, but we need to remember this is a team game
Every player on the team would likely be willing to give up opportunities for greater team success.

Look at Devin Durrant. Who doesn't think that he would have willingly sacrificed his 27.9 ppg for the balanced team scoring ability that might have brought home a win against Kentucky?

Jimmer Mania was fun but I'm not sure it would have lasted much further in the tourney even if Davies had been available. From the start of the tourney we were one shut-down defender from being eliminated, even with Davies.

But it sure was fun to dream about the possibilities.

Personally, I think and hope that Emery has an outstanding season as a junior keyed by showing increased maturity as a player. Call me an optimist but that is my expectation.

For Haws, I'm not sure. He needs to get a lot stronger and learn to defend. I do like to see the ball in his hands a lot. Hopefully he can avoid the sophomore slump.
