There are a lot of idiots here. On many subjects many know absolutely nothing about what they are talking about, basketball, football included. Like any anonymous chat board, the arrogance and narcissism is generally off the charts.

(Gurt - this is not pointed at you, but at all of us collectively, myself included).

On the other hand, there is some amazing discussion on this board, some amazing people with stories and information that can make a meaningful impact. (Mostly other topics other than sports, which is why players and their families should just turn off the sports topics.) IMO, the non sports discussion is generally better than the sports discussion, due to the emotion, over reactive nature of fans that need to get a grip (politics and rainbow categories excepted here also).
