lifestyle that one could live on that. But it is not for everyone. I don't find happiness in things but experiences. So it is easy for me to cut out on things and focus on international travel etc and save a ton. If you have to have big house, new furniture, new tvs, expensive phone plans, expensive cars, then it won't work for you. If you could do all of those on cost effective basis, then it can be easy to do especially with dual income.
