He might be telling different people different things; players have a tendency
to say different things at different moments.
Rationally, it makes no sense to as a sophomore to jump with only a "chance", which anything other than the first round is.
Europe will be there next year as well, as would China. It is completely irrational to do anything other than first round or to return. He doesn't need the money, but he needs the improvement. I don't see him as a completely irrational sort, but then again he is only 21-22, and Millennials do things that don't make sense.
