Taysom is 5th all time in offensive production at BYU against a harder schedule
Than any other BYU qb has faced. He also had multiple season ending injuries.
Taysom wasn't McMahon or Young but he wasn't a terrible Qb. He is a Tier 2 Qb which is great but not legendary.
I guess I'm a Taysom apologist but what I remember is his first play being a TD Vs Washington St, his first huge run against Hawaii, demolishing Boise State in Provo, humilating Texas twice, the Houston shootout, his tenacity to keep playing at Nebraska and then letting Tanner take us home, the victories in Arizona, Mighigan State, and his Long ball to Trinnaman vs Toledo. He was an exciting Qb and I hope the start of the QB factory coming back on line.

Disappointing is probably better word. Just meant awful in how high expectations were after Nebraska game.
