The position is meritless because NCWW bylaws are written to accommodate
Schools with a written policy regarding playing on specific days due to religious observances.

Last year the BYU women's golf team made the NCAA tournament, where the final round was played on Sunday. The NCAA made enormous adjustments to allow BYU to compete. The linked Golfweek article talks about the steps taken to accommodate BYU.

A quote from the article:

"According to Bylaw 31.1.4.1, the NCAA must accommodate such a restriction.

That NCAA bylaw states: “Accommodations must be provided to schools that have a written policy against competition on a particular day for religious reasons and have submitted such policy to the NCAA prior to September 1 of the relevant academic year.”

The NCAA has confirmed that it will heed that bylaw and make accommodations in Eugene for BYU’s Sunday ban."

Either the NCAA complies with their own rules, or face the prospect of potential legal action.
