driving yourself for quite a while. While I believe self-driving will be safer than humans within the decade, I don't think there will be major hurdles to human driving for another decade beyond that (other than higher insurance etc.). We are paying insurance right now for human errors, so it is not like it will go up. It just won't be as cheap as self driving at some point. In fact, with more self driving cars out there, you are less likely to get into an accident even with human drivers. I'd assume the worst drivers with super high insurance will be early adopters. Good drivers may be later adopters.
