At scout camp one year. Great war story to tell. Went to a jamboree, you know surrounded by thousanda of boys who "obey the scout law". I somehow missed the part where muggin on the meek,skinny, nerdy kid in glasses,breaking his glasses was part of that honorable tradition.

OTOH went on a three day river canoe trip as a YM activity that was awesoe. Went on a four day river rafting combined ym/yw activity that was so fun.

Ive been to two scout campouts..which are precursors for camps. here in utah and the locations arent as fun IMO as thise back east.Water/trees shade make a huge difference
