Our lack of conference affiliation along with the accompanying playoff game give
More or less a one game penalty If there are 14's that have one loss or less we can't get in the playoffs unless one of those teams is from the Mountain West or AAC. We would have a one game advantage on them due to our power five schedule strength
With one loss we would get in over two loss teams. Every year there are two loss teams that I get in.

If BYU goes undefeated & every conference champ has at least 1 loss & there aren't more than three 1-loss teams.
