Why is that naive? Kalani has said he wants to be the Polynesian LaVell Edwards.

What's your evidence that Kalani is only about chasing the biggest paycheck or highest prestige? You say that everyone chases money and prestige in their careers, but that's flat out false. Plenty of people have turned down such opportunities in their careers because it conflicted with other priorities they've had in their lives.
