Having said that, the waves along Washington and Oregon are just not very big, unless there is a storm somewhere offshore. And they break very close to shore. I have seen some people with boogie boards out along the Oregon coast, but I have rarely seen surfers.

It is possible that there is some special spot with better surf than anywhere else along the Oregon coast, but I kind of doubt it.

But if you have to bring your board, bring your board. And a wet suit.
