Possibly true. The sad fact is that the Bowl Coalition...BCS...CFP have forever
changed the CFB world, and not for the better.
When we were kids, we loved the WAC. There was no CFB "arms race". There was the PAC8, Big 8 and the SWC. Money...or the love of it...has dirtied, and to an extent ruined, CFB.
Having grown up in the 70's and 80's those were much better times for CFB.

Oh please. Tom very recently stated we're already in negotiations for an extension and that both parties want the deal.
