As I posted, our Pass efficiency Defense is ranked 117th right now. (Again considered by many Hc's as the best metric ncaa keeps to rank a defense)

Our defense was ranked 71st last year.
It had to replace 3 starters, (maybe it's 4) Conversely our offense has had to replace even more.

We have two 4* corners ad a for sure NFL lber on D.

Why no fire Guilford mobs?
Cahoon doesn't have any 4* WR's,but the mobs are out in force on him

Ed Lamb? We don't have a FG kicker,PAT's are an adventure, our safeties are getting toasted..Where is his mob?
IT is coaching DL this year as well, 117th ranked Defense and a DL that has een terrible. TAKITAKI's only sack was vs PSU after that we have a Total for the whole team through 4 games of 6 to 8 (I can't remember but the ststistics was given out on SN) QB hurries/ and less than 3 knockdowns!
Where is Tuiako's mob? He on paper has more talent and more continuity and expwrience from last year on defense than the offense has.
Then there is Kalani. This whole mess is his responsibility and on top of that he has said he helps IT with the Defense.

All of this and Replace Detmer/Cahoon is what CB keeps chanting?

I can only guess the reason we arent hearing more Fire Guilford/Tuiako, etc. Is because those who aren't don't know as much about football as they think they do. They simply don't recognize how terrible our defense is.

Well I've pointed it out now. A few others have also pointed it out. So to keep asking for Detmer/Cahoon to be replaced without asking for the rest of the staff will quickly and easily identify you as someone who doesn't know football or have something against Ty/Cahoon completely unrelated to football. I guess there are other options but these are the most probable given the circumstances.

So do we fire everyone? Did Guilford,Lamb, stop knowing how to coach? Or Do we need to give this staff time to correct course?

I'M firmly in the give the staff time camp. If things continue as they are now, we need to consider wholesale changes to the program.
