really true. It was a different week, that much is true. Grad assistants ran practices while coaches were out recruiting. These were not grueling practices, but they certainly were practices. Earlier in the week, there was a lot of film work, and lifting/recovery/treatment was happening all week long.

The biggest difference was the overall intensity/physicality of the work on the practice field. That was very much deemphasized in favor of allowing guys to heal up after a very physical first month of the season. Everybody that has had any real playing time is beat up in some way. But that doesn't mean there weren't efforts made towards improving last week.
