Better for who? East Coasters love independence like myself. I could care less
about you Utahans and the home schedule. BYU fans across the country get more exposure to the team and can go to games. This is better for the program from an exposure/PR level. Here is NC, all my co-workers come talk to me about BYU and the upcoming ECU game. They don't cheer for BYU but they sure do know about them now I am here and we play in their backyard.
I look at everything collectively, Independent schedule is WAY better than before.
