The purpose is to make ourselves the most attractive prospect for P5, correct?
Floundering in mediocrity for the past 6 years has not improved our brand and the future doesn't appear to be getting any better (past performance is the only indicator of future success). Could things change, absolutely.
Winning and winning a lot of games will make us attractive. It is how we built our proud brand and program. We won a NC by routinely destroying WAC teams. The system won't allow that now, but it can certainly make us a more attractive program when the opportunity presents itself.
