dan orlovsky was on sirius this morning. he's a journeyman NFL qb who's bounced
around to 5 different teams in his career, basically a backup, but has seen a lot of the NFL and a lot of teams.

most recently he was in the Ram's camp this year before they cut him. Anyway, they interviewed him because he's been in a lot of camps, seen a lot of coaches and systems, and they wanted to talk about goff.

He said he is not really surprised by Goff's success this year. he said the system is so solid and designed to give success to the QB.

but what struck me was what he said about last year, with Goff's struggles: "well, last year he struggled, but they were running an ANCIENT system, that was so easy to read for the other teams, the plays they were running were stuff you see in high school, and some high school teams probably run it better. old system that doesn't work. this system this year is so much better."

sounded like he was talking about byu. just because its a "pro system" does not mean its a good one. there are good ones and bad ones.
