I agree with alot of what you're saying. However, I think we still have a shot
at P5, maybe a long shot.
I think our best shot at P5 inclusion is to go back to a G5 conference and dominate our competition there. Let's face it, there are quite a few G5 schools that would be more attractive than BYU at this point.
If we never make a P5 conference then so be it. College football is still an awesome sport. I see the fans at Boise, Houston, USF, Cinncinati etc. having great seasons and the excitement is there. They aren't complaining about not being in the P5. We seem to be obsessed about P5 because Utah got invited and we didn't.
