We had a bull market for the past 8-9 years. It’s much easier to beat the market
when time is good. I’ve done it 8 out of last 9 years with my own stock picking. I just buy and hold good companies. It’s not that complicated.
That being said, I’m smart enough to know that I’m not that smart. When a correction hits, I doubt I beat the market on the way down.
