USU considers it such a big game for them and play really hard. This new part of the schedule will allow Mangum to get used to the pocket and improve. We will run the ball better and gain a lot more experience. The game against Fresno State might be tough, but I think we might have gained enough experience to keep going on. By the time we get to the bowl game, we will be a different team facing a bit lighter bowl opponent. Depending on the draw, I think we win. This will all help us next year as well. As we win, more "fans" will get behind the team again. Mangum has really struggled with the Pro Set Offense, but wants to learn it for any potential Pro career. So I think he stays in the pocket, has easier defenses and learns the game in the pocket. Running backs will pick up more yards, blockers will see the success and block better. It will build back up again.
