The running backs/QBs were about the same as 2017, but the 2015 receivers were dramatically better Mathews/Blackmon/Kurtz/Houk/Juergens are not in the same league as the current receivers. The offense was simplified for Mangum, but you can't develop QBs using that methodology every year particularly with a downgrade in receivers. In retrospect, Detmer probably should have dumbed it down for Mangum

The defense had lots of playmakers Bronson Kaufusi (11 sacks), Kai Nacua, and Harvey Langi plus some of the current group.
