shouldn't be called out. Frankly, they should have done better yesterday against UMASS. They are bad and have been bad all season for the most part. USU put up 40 on us due to both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball! That should never happen. We rank low in defensive statistics, can't get off the field on third downs, can't force turnovers, no creativity or blitz packages, etc. Yes the offense has been historically bad, but at least you can point to 4 different QBs and some of our best skill players being freshman/sophomores. What's the excuse for the defense? They had all our best players supposedly in Fred, Takitaki, Kaufusi, Butch, etc. Overall, we are just plain bad on both sides of the ball and both should be called out accordingly and both should have changes made accordingly.
