We need cultural change, and student captains can be very helpful with that. So ideally we should have a QB anointed who can motivate in the off-season. Who will call up receivers for thousands of extra reps. Who can go out to dinner with his OLine. Stuff like that.

This is why I wish they had pulled off the redshirt on Wilstead and used these last couple of games to figure out the pecking order of QBs before the off-season. Because if he is our best QB for next year, it'd be good to know that now, rather than in August. And more importantly, for the team to know it too.
