Also lack of experience at most skill positions led to numerous turnovers...
...RB’s having troubles holding onto the ball, receivers letting balls bounce through their hands and become easy interceptions, not comeing back on or fighting for passes and just letting the DB jump the route and make the catch. It’s been disheartening to watch at times.

We get a little excited to see a tough runner like Ula come in and grind out yards and be tough to bring down but then he kills drives with multiple fumbles. It was like at times coaches had nobody to turn to that they could count on.

To make matters worse, there was no calming, leader on offense. Tanner should’ve been that presence but he seemed the most uptight of all on offense. This was perplexing considering he was a junior, sat and learned as a backup to Taysom and you’d think some of that would rub off on him. Instead he seemed wound way too tightly in the pocket and if he didn’t see an open receiver within a couple seconds he was like a white-tailed deer in the woods hearing a twig snap.
