I agree Lance would be a good (if not great) hire in terms of FB. Quite possibly
a better HC hire than Bob if it weren't BYU we were talking about. But it'd still be a close call, I think.
Given all the special issues associated w BYU it's kinda crazy that we even consider hiring guys who have no experience on our staff. IMO, it's almost an imperative to hire a guy who's done time here.
I will admit I'd like to have recruiters the quality of Kalani, Lamb & Tuiaki on our staff, regardless. And to do that, our BOT is gonna have to pony up more for their staff than they've been so-far willing. Either that, we'll be forever doomed to mediocrity, even if we were to hire an Urban Meyer (who of course would never even consider coaching under such limitations -- & Lance might not wish to, either, for that matter).

We would not get Lance Anderson to come as a DC. At Stanford, Lance already has a better position as a DC.
