Weird, right? Andersen was horrible at OSU, and publicly ripped his assistants

(guys that he hired) before quitting the team mid-season, and yet so many people think he would be a great hire for BYU. Personally, I think he's really overrated. He had one great season at Utah State, and hasn't done anything remotely impressive since then.

He is a smart guy and does have a lot of experience, so it's not totally ridiculous, but all the Andersen love does seem a bit odd to me.
