Ron was friendly and competitive, a really nice guy! I talked to him on several occasions in Laie, once at a rugby match. He was able to establish a Polynesian pipeline which has benefited Utah ever since. But BYU was in the game in those days because so many respected him as a father figure. We need to focus on getting ready for our opponent and finding a few (really)good men! (I wa in the Marines!). Restoring skills after a mission layoff is no easy path nor is coming up to speed in coaching!
