We aren't perfect parents, not even close. But we're conscious of not letting the kids rule the house.

Our 7yo is kind, obedient, and loving.

Our 3yo is combative, independent, and mean.

It's not all parenting. We just do our best and try to adjust. Time out? We do it. Sit and talk with them to explain what behavior is acceptable and why? Check. I've taken child development and psychology classes, I know and apply the principles.
