I grew up not too long ago but everyone was still tough and mean. There were fights at school and we would constantly rip on eachother but then we would be friends like a couple hours later. Mormon kids seem to be a lot nicer and well mannered than we were. Football doesn't require you to be a jerk to be successful but there does seem to be some correlation. 

I definately think BYU has a white guy problem but I feel like I see more white dudes in the NFL more than ever.

Also, Wisconsin and Stanford find tons of talented white dudes that take them pretty far.

I am 30 so I don't remember the 80's but in the 90's it seemed like there was like there were no white dudes. 

In the 90's there would be white recievers sprinkled here or there like Wayne Chrebet and Ed Mccaffrey. Now there is a white receiver on every team. Jordy Nelson, Cole Beasley, Theilin, Kupp, amendola, Hogan, abd Edelman off the top of my head.
