People's expectations were way inflated in regards to LP3
You have 3 top 50 type guys over 2 different classes. Not 3 top 10 guys. I think these guys under-performed a bit last year (I was expecting a first round loss in NCAA and potential for a sweet 16 run with these guys in future years), but people expecting final four appearances are delusional.
From Nick's blog it sounds like the hype and expectations were a burden on them and I wouldn't be surprised if it negatively affected their play last year - Instead of playing as a team, at times they seemed to play hero ball.
