I think the concept of "moving home" is very Utah
My mother-in-law has 3 of her 5 children living within 15 miles of her. But she complains all the time about how 2 of her 5 children live outside of Utah in Washington state. About 12 hours away.
Meantime, I'm the closest to my parents, which is an 18-hour drive. My brother and sister both live outside the continental U.S. But I hear nary a complaint.
